Many people would ask whats the difference between modern soaps you can buy at the supermarket and what we call natural soaps?
The fact is that many modern soaps aren't really soap at all. they are mainly detergents which are made up of petroleum based ingredients and I for one don't like the idea of putting petrol on my skin. No wonder peoples skin dries out these days or have acne issues.
Natural soaps are comprised of natural oils and fats which assist in moisturizing the skin while it cleans, an of course, the natural oils degrade much easier with little or no impact to the environment.
Consider what goes down the drain when you use petroleum based products... is it any wonder that the oceans are struggling to stay clean?
